72 students in first boot camp in Ukraine

Live School focuses on training people to evangelize in the "back streets" of their own and neighboring countries. Sometimes this means living in the bush and adapting to different environments. That is why Live School has a Boot Camp to teach the students to survive in the bush.

The Ukraine team is preparing for the first Boot Camp to be held in the Ukraine and they are excited by the response, as 72 of the 100 students will be attending.

English Live School to start in August

The team is in the final process of hosting an English Live School in Kiev starting in July 2007. They are approaching a local pastor that will facilitate the school. We pray for a smooth startup process and more students to attend.

This is a considerable goal to accomplish, but they are well on their way with six schools already started.

Skadovsk

Skadovsk is situated in the south of Ukraine with a total population of 22,000. The local church and the Skadovsk Mission School, which uses the Live School curriculum, are very involved in outreaches to the 14 nearby villages. The eight students from Skadovsk Mission School will be working in these villages for four months and graduate in September.

It is evident that the school has a positive effect on the students and the churches in all the nearby villages as about 29 missionaries from different organizations in 14 villages come together every week to pray and report what God is doing in the villages.

When you talk to the students about Live School, some will start to cry because of what God is doing in their lives.

Please pray for the World Mission Team as they prepare to reach their goal of starting 30-42 new schools this year. Also pray for the existing schools to produce church planters that will carry the Gospel where it needs to go.
