Bush phase - Various

The students go into the bush for a four-week period, having to survive on the bare essentials. They will live in tents, dig their own toilets, set up primitive showers, and cook their own meals. The discipline is based on military-style guidelines with drills, parades and team-building activities.

During Phase One, the school lecture phase, afternoon activities will also include children's ministries, drama and dance, and working in the office in the various departments to gain an understanding of how a mission organization functions.
