Willie discusses the subject of preparation for ministry. He focuses on men in the ministry of the church over the last two hundred years. In the first one hundred and fifty years the focus was on character. However, in the last fifty, the focus has been on success. Willie's premise is that the more you want to be used of the Lord, the longer your time of preparation will be. He builds on themes such as the "Quarry Experience" by going through difficult experiences of character building in the life of David, from shepherd to king, the experience of Timothy and Paul's shepherding of Timothy, and the book, Your Attitude will Rule Your Life.
