When the Body of Christ uses what
Christ has given it to reach the lost, He does miracles even beyond
what we could ever imagine possible.
The Live School is a tool to equip the Body of Christ to reach
those who have never heard the Gospel, especially the Unreached
Peoples, so they too can come to repentance for salvation through
faith in Jesus Christ and have a personal relationship with
Him.
Apart from the basics of the Gospel - sin, our need for a Savior,
the Atoning death of Jesus Christ, His resurrection and ascension,
and His life in us today - other relevant principles, such as power
evangelism, and ministering reconciliation, healing and
deliverance, are all covered in depth.
Students are also trained in practical things such as communicating
the Gospel clearly yet simply and effectively.
Head-knowledge, however, is not the goal, and students share their
faith and preach the Word in many ways - one-on-one, in small
groups, at church meetings and in large evangelistic meetings - and
in a wide variety of places - educational institutions,
correctional facilities, rural villages and urban areas.
Real life examples
Botswana - A Live School with an enrollment of twelve spent most
of its outreach phase doing evangelism. The result? Over 5,000 led
to the Lord in eastern Botswana in that year alone.
Mangochi, Malawi - The JESUS film has been used on many of the
outreach phases across Africa with amazing results. On the shores
of Lake Malawi, over 700 people attended a showing of the film with
over 200 accepting Jesus as their Lord and Savior .
The Kwando of Angola - "In April [2007], we asked for prayer and
God answered. Our WMC missionary, Cesar Antonio, reported that he
and the chief of the Kwando people had been ordered to report, for
consultation concerning tribal matters, to the local government
office in Caitou, the administrative center for the Kwando. On the
way back to the chief's village, we (the missionary and Christians
accompanying us) shared the gospel with the chief. To our joy and
surprise, he opened his heart to the Lord! Upon arriving in the
village, the chief summoned his people together and affirmed the
message of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, commending the
missionary and the other Christians for telling him and his people
the Truth. Then and there, 30 people confessed faith in Jesus
Christ joined by another 27 soon thereafter. The chief provided
land for a church building and the new Kwando believers volunteered
their services to erect a church structure."
