For years we have dreamed how we could make the Live
School available on different technology that would be small enough
to fit into a jacket pocket.
Doing this would make it easier to transport but also much
easier to carry to difficult places.
Bear in mind that the curriculum is 240 hours of video material
presently available in six (6) languages.
To fit all this material onto a unit this size in the particular
technical format we work in, was not an easy task.
This project took months of praying, designing and redesigning
and led us to many parts of the world.
Today we have Good news!
William who heads up our media team spent most of today testing
a number of units that are in production. His task was to make a
final decision if the unit would work effectively in the field.
After many hours he was able to confirm that the
product is working and is suitable for our
need.
We signed the deal today and hope to take delivery of the first
units before the end of the year.
We have set aside the evening of the 29th of
October, 2012 to dedicate this new tool to the service of
the Lord and His Kingdom. This event will take place in Pretoria,
South Africa at the same venue where we held the historic "Live
School Indaba" last year. Invitations to the event will be
sent out by the end of next week.
For me and Lydia the 4th of September, 2012 is a
day to remember in the history of World Mission
Centre.
We thank the Lord for His enabling
grace and pray that through this unique tool
thousands of missionaries will be trained in their local churches
around the world to be part of the force He is raising up to bring
in the greatest harvest in these last days.
We also say thank you to William who has been relentless in
finding the answer to our dream - GREAT job
William!!! THANK YOU
