Live School Launch - Pretoria

‘Spirit filled'. ‘Overflowing with the pure blessing and anointing of the Holy Spirit'. ‘Filled with emotion'. These are a few of the ways one can describe the atmosphere in the Jacaranda Hall in the Sheraton Hotel & Towers on the night of 10 November 2005.

The invitation only crowd numbered 300 and one can only imagine that the rest of the guests at the hotel that night were a little jealous that they were not behind those doors -praising, singing and sharing in the blessing of this momentous event.

Live School is the culmination of a 7 year blood, sweat and prayers investment of the World Mission Centre, based in Pretoria , South Africa . A series of miracles steered the project into the direction it needed to move and, as Pastor Willie Crew (Director of World Mission Centre) rightly says, ‘It is a God Thing'. HE is in IT, HE works through IT and HE blessed World Mission Centre to do IT!

Live School is a phenomenal missions training tool that will change the way in which evangelization is done in the modern world. By empowering pastors to transfer mission skills to those members of their congregations that want to be trained as missionaries, the Live School instantly overcomes a number of geographical and financial challenges that the mission world has had to overcome throughout the years. The curriculum is currently available in English, but a process has been put into motion to translate it into other identified world languages, such as Russian. It also makes one infinitely proud to know that this innovative world first is a Proudly South African product, that will be impacting un-reached people groups all around the globe.

A number of Mobile Integrated Training Systems (MITS) as well as standard Live School DVD sets were committed to the Lord on the night. They were handed to missionaries from as far a field as Botswana , Nepal , Ukraine and India . Each recipient received their gift with a promise to take the Word back to their countries and start the process of teaching their communities and transferring mission skills to their people.

A business man from Cape Town, Mr Leon Rossouw, gave a moving testimony of how God has used his business ( Sand ) to sow into the Kingdom and there is no doubt that he moved the hearts of those present to open their spirits to the voice of God. To be challenged to commit resources, time, finances or just simply their prayers to supporting the vision of the Live School .

A pre-recorded message was sent by Mr. Gunnar Olson (President of the International Christian Chamber of Commerce), who was unable to join the evening due to commitments in Israel . He did however encourage the business world to support the Live School as one of the most significant leadership training tools available today.
